SilverStone Group Presents Annual Awards

Omaha, NE -- SilverStone Group is proud to announce the recipients of the annual Carl G. Mammel and H.H. "Red" Nelson award winners for 2007 at our firm's Annual Meeting on April 4, 2008. Jeff Jorth and Jeff Sharp were awarded the Carl G. Mammel Award, which recognizes outstanding achievements in sales and marketing. Kathy Leith and Jackie Schulte were co-recipients of the H.H. "Red" Nelson award for outstanding achievement in Client Service.

Jeff Jorth, Principal, Group Benefits

Jeff Jorth is a Principal and Account Executive in SilverStone Group's Group Benefits division. Since joining the Firm in July 2004, he has been a top producer every year. Jeff has maintained a 100% retention rate as a result of his commitment to client service. Jeff has also been instrumental in mentoring our Benefits team in Sioux Falls with their growing practice. Jeff and his wife, Kari, are leaders in the community. Jeff served as chairman of the annual Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides campaign in 2008 raising over $250,000 and is slated to serve as President of the chapter beginning in 2009.

Jeff Sharp, Principal, Private Client Wealth and Investments

Jeff Sharp has been with SilverStone Group since 1991 and is a Principal in the Private Client Wealth and Investments division. In 2007, Jeff was the top producer of new business, which included qualified investments, corporate wealth transfer and private client life investments. Jeff is active in the M Wealth Advisory Board, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, Omaha Estate Planning Council and the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting. He currently serves as President of the Westside Schools Foundation. Jeff and his wife, Becky, chaired the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo's 2008 membership drive.

Kathy Leith, Client Service Representative, Private Client Wealth

Kathy Leith has been a Client Service Representative in the Private Client Wealth Division since May 2003. She has distinguished herself by building strong relationships with the underwriting staff at all of our major carriers. Her dedication, strong negotiating skills, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile for our clients makes her an invaluable asset to the Firm.

Jackie Schulte, Accounts Payable Technician

Jackie Schulte has been the Accounts Payable Technician for SilverStone Group since October 1998. She works closely with account executives, producers and managers, providing excellent customer service to ensure all accounting transactions are properly documented. She has been an integral player in designing the intricate workflow for the Firm's paperless imaging system. Jackie always finds time to help with internal volunteer projects and her smiling face can be seen at various Firm fundraisers and outside projects.
